Welcoming a new baby into the family is a joyous occasion, but it also brings unique challenges, particularly when it comes to balancing work and family life.

In this virtual fireside chat, we will explore the complexities of re-entering the workforce after parental leave and discuss how organizations can better support parents during this critical transition. Join our panel of experts, Arianna Hillis, Founder & CEO at Shoshanna’s Daughter; Stephiney Foley, CEO & CoFounder at Yuzi; and Megan Barbier, CHRO at Boomi, as they share their insights on the current challenges parents face when returning to work, and why it’s crucial to prioritize support for working parents.

The discussion will cover a range of topics, including:

  • The obstacles new parents encounter when re-integrating into the workplace.
  • The importance of supporting parents during and after their return to work.
  • Practical strategies for organizations to improve their re-boarding process, even with limited resources.
  • The role of postpartum wellness and self-care in ensuring a successful transition back to work.
  • Emerging trends in employer-provided benefits for parents and how employees can advocate for the support they need.
